Daytime Smokey Blue

This was my first attempt at using my new Temptu Airbrush Makeup system that my fiance got me for Christmas. It was fairly easy and I have fallen in love. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to regular foundation.

I love the way my face looked after putting on the foundation. Flawless. However, I did notice that my t-zone ended up getting a little oily throughout the day. I will have to try putting primer on first and let you know how it goes.

For this look I used the Rimmel Glam'eyes Quad Eye Shadow in Smokey Blue.

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Lid - light blue color on the left
Crease - darker blue on the right
Outer "V" and lowe lash line - darkest blue on the top
Brow bone - nude color, something close to your skintone. I used the lightest color on the Wet N Wild Color Icon palette in Lust.
Wet N Wild Mega Liner liquid eye liner in black.
Set the color with a black eyeshadow, I used the black from the Wet N Wild Greed palette
Sephora Flashy Liner in Flashy Silver for my waterline, this will help open up the eyes
Rimmel Glam'eyes Lash Flirt mascara in black

Face:
Foundation - Temptu Air pod in Ivory #002
Blush - Temptu Air pod in Pale Pink #401
Highlighter - Temptu Air pod in Champagne #301
Makeup Forever HD Powder to set the foundation

Lips:
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Just Enough Buff #613
Milani Crystal Gloss for Lips in Secret

Fun daytime green and blue look using Wet N Wild Color ICON palette in Pride

The new Wet N Wild Color Icon eyeshadow palettes are beautiful. Very well pigmented, a little goes a long way! They are easy to work with and blend very easily.

This is a fun and colorful daytime look.

Eyes:
Mac Paint Pot in Painterly (base)
From the Wet N Wild palette in Pride, the shimmery green (all over lid and inner 1/2 of lower lash line), shimmery blue (outer "v", crease and outer 1/2 of lower lash line), and a light dusting on the brow bone using the shimmery white.**
Wet N Wild Mega Liner liquid eye liner in black.
Set the color with a black eyeshadow, I used the black from the Wet N Wild Greed palette
Lancome Hypnose mascara in black

**Remember, these colors are very pigmented and a little goes a long way. If you are going for a more dramatic night time look, simply mix in the matte colors with the shimmery and build up the color for the desired intensity.

Makeup Forever HD Foundation in #120
Makeup Forever HD Powder to set the foundation
Benefit Hoola for contouring

Ulta Haul

I went to Tampa, FL to visit my mom this past weekend and paid a visit to the local Ulta store. I love Ulta! It is just too bad that I don’t have one close to where I live in South Florida (they should open a store in the Coral Springs areas ::hint::). The associates there are so friendly and very helpful. It is nice to be able to find most, if not all, of my beauty products in one location.
Here are the things that I purchased:
China Glaze – Vintage Vixen
China Glaze came out with their Fall 2010 Collection. These colors are amazing! Beautiful fall colors that remind me of living in New Jersey with the leaves on the trees beginning to change colors around this time of the year. The coverage is excellent, with just 2 coats needed for full coverage.
          Goin’ My Way

            Classic Camel

              Ingrid

Essie – Fall 2010 Collection
More great fall colors from Essie. I love the formula of these nail polishes. It’s creamy and very well pigmented. Just two coats are all you need for full coverage.

                Sew Psyched

          Velvet Voyeur

         Little Brown Dress

NYX – Jumbo Eye Pencils
These pencils are great to use alone or as a base to enhance your eye shadow color. These were buy 1 get 1 50% off. What a deal!
Milk, Black Bean, Pots & Pans, French Fries

NYX – Slim Eye Pencils
Smooth, creamy application. Very well pigmented providing long-lasting wear. Also buy 1 get 1 50% off.
               Satin Blue, Moss, White, Purple

Stila – Girl Travel Palette in “Trendsetting in Tokyo”
I LOVE THIS PALETTE!!! You have 4 eye shadows and a lip/cheek color. The best part is… ONLY $10!!! Can you believe it? The colors are super cute and it is very convenient to have everything you need in a small palette. Just throw it in your purse and off you go!
The eye shadows and lip/cheek color are silky smooth and have great color payoff. Best of all, we know this is a high quality product.
Trendsetting in Tokyo has the most “fun” colors of the palette combos. Sake (shimmery beige), Kawai (pink), Shibuya (bright blue), Peace Sign (shimmery black). The lip/cheek color is Sakura (cherry blossom pink).

The following Girl Travel Palettes are also available:
Pretty in Paris – These are beautiful neutral colors… Crepe (pale pink), Cherie (reddish brown), Jolie (brownish pink), and Chocolat (brown). The lip/cheek color is Rosebud.
Road to radiance across the U.S.A. – Another set of nice color combination, more pink colors than the Pretty in Paris set. Snow Bunny (shimmery champagne), Southern Belle (mauve), Valley Girl (pink), City Chic (alloy). The lip/cheek color is Hibiscus.
Make an impression in Moscow – Stila’s latest travel palette. Matruschka (beige), Chill (light blue), Nadia (orange copper), Mink (brown). The lip/cheek color is Lily (sheer pink).

e.l.f. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

If you've never heard of e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) Cosmetics, let me give you a quick intro.

e.l.f. cosmetics are inexpensive and high-quality. Most items are $1.00 for the regular e.l.f. line and $3.00 for the e.l.f. studio line. They are sold online at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ or at some Target and Kmart stores.

I recently purchased the Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths to see if they were any good. Well to my surprise, at only $3.00, they are fantastic! I can get my makeup off and face washed in less than 2 minutes. This is a great timesaver at night when I am exhausted after a long, hectic day of work, home and dealing with my son. The package comes with 20 pre-moistened wipes. After wiping your face with the cloth you do have to give your face a quick rinse or you will be left with a soapy residue.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone. It does not dry out your skin nor cause you to get blemishes.

Welcome to my blog!

Hey there! Welcome to my blog!

Let me introduce myself... My name is Jennifer. I am a 30 year old, first-time mom. My son is 9 weeks old and is the love of my life!

Isn't he a cutie?

Now that I am a mom, have a full time job both in an office and at home I feel like I have no time for myself. I used to love to paint and do crafts, but I don't have that much time to dedicate anymore. So I figured I would start a new hobby. I've always loved makeup and anything beauty. So here is a blog where you will find new product reviews, quick beauty tips and the latest trends.

Make sure to follow me and leave me your feedback!

Ciao!
